Denver Nuggets Season Analysis

The Denver Nuggets were record wise one of the best teams in the league, but fell to the hot handed Portland Trailbazers. As I have said many times before, a lot of teams got better this offseason, so I am not as high on the Nuggets as I was last season. The biggest question for them is what rookie Micheal Porter, Jr. will bring to the table. Before a back injury he was projected to be the number one pick in the draft. You know what you’re getting as far as production from the rest of this team, but Porter will be the X factor. Nikola Jokic is the league’s most efficient and all around skilled big man, but he and his team couldn’t get it done last season and their star power forward Paul Milsap isn’t getting any younger. So if this team wants to contend, they need great seasons from their point guard Jamal Murray who has talent, but lacks consistency, and Will Barton and Gary Harris who are great scorers, but also lack consistency.
